Tom Cruise Opens Up About His Intensity and Passion for Filmmaking
Tom Cruise, now 64, is confirming what Hollywood insiders have long suspected: his intensity on set is genuine and unwavering. In a recent GQ cover interview, the veteran actor openly embraced his demanding reputation, making it clear that he sets high expectations for everyone he works with-and he ensures they know exactly what they’re signing up for.
“The rumors are true,” Cruise said with a laugh. “I expect a lot and I’m up-front about it.
It’s like, ‘Do you want this?’ Trust me, I’ll be here before you.
What experience do you want?”
Cruise emphasized that his intensity isn’t something he switches on only when cameras roll. “Even when I was a kid, people said, ‘Oh, Tom, you’re so intense.’ And I didn’t know what to say-I just am,” he remarked, adding that he has a good sense of humor about it.
