“The Bold and the Beautiful” spoilers hint at some intense family drama this week as Katie Logan (Heather Tom) channels her inner Stephanie Forrester (Susan Flannery) to protect her son Will Spencer (Crew Morrow) from Dylan (Sydney Bullock).
Will continues to stand by Dylan, brushing off Katie’s growing suspicions about Dylan’s intentions. Despite Katie’s warnings that Dylan is trouble, Will isn’t convinced and even pushes back hard when Katie compares Dylan to Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang). In a bold move, Will flips the script by likening Katie to Stephanie Forrester, recalling how Stephanie used to fiercely mistreat the Logans.
“You want to compare Dylan to Brooke? That’s okay.
But I’m gonna start comparing you to Stephanie Forrester,” Will tells his mother. He goes on, “The way that she used to mistreat Brooke over the years, the way that she used to mistreat all of the Logans, as a matter of fact.”
But Katie isn’t rattled by the comparison. In fact, she embraces it, firing back, “You know what?
You want to compare me to Stephanie? Fine.
Go ahead. I’ll take that.
Stephanie was right.” Katie justifies her stance by reminding Will that Stephanie’s wariness of Brooke was well-founded, given Brooke’s history of stealing Stephanie’s husband.
She vows to protect Will just as fiercely, saying, “I mean, she fiercely defended and protected her son from Brooke, and I will fiercely defend and protect you from Melissa Dylan.”
Later in the week, Dylan’s mother Darcy (Kelly Sullivan) advises her daughter that she doesn’t need Katie’s approval. The question remains: will Katie’s doubts about Dylan soften, or will she dig in even deeper?
