Las Vegas Aces star A’ja Wilson was restrained by security following a heated confrontation with Indiana Fever fans during Tuesday’s WNBA Playoff Game 2, shortly after being fouled by Sophie Cunningham.
The Fever hosted the critical matchup needing a win after a tough regular season carried over into their postseason opener. Indiana came out aggressively, with Caitlin Clark delivering a standout performance-registering a double-double with 19 points and 10 assists by halftime.
The physical intensity of the Fever clearly unsettled the Aces. Wilson was shoved earlier by Myisha Hines-Allen, an action met with applause from Clark and Cunningham.

After the game, Wilson spoke candidly about the confrontation: “I don’t usually get into the bulls—. I try to play my game and keep it moving.
But if I’m just walking after a foul, and a man steps toward me, pointing and confronting me, I don’t care what was said or how-it’s unacceptable. You don’t step towards me or point at me like that.
That’s just not something I’ll tolerate.”
She also expressed remorse to her teammates for the technical foul but emphasized the need to set boundaries: “I’m not going to allow that anymore. You don’t know me to come at me like that.”
