A home once owned by pop superstar Taylor Swift has hit the market, drawing attention from fans and real estate enthusiasts alike. The Pillsbury Estate, which Swift owned from 2011 until 2018, is now listed for nearly $8 million.
This charming 1.5-acre country-style property in Beverly Hills served as Swift’s creative haven during the writing of her critically acclaimed album, 1989. After seven years, she sold the estate to fashion designer Nicolas Bijan and interior designer Roxy Bijan. The couple notably held their wedding at the home in 2020 after plans to marry in Lake Como were derailed by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Nicolas Bijan described the property’s atmosphere as reminiscent of the English countryside, yet conveniently close to the bustling Polo Lounge. The estate’s elegant design earned it a feature in Architectural Digest in 2021, and it also appeared during Swift’s “73 Questions” interview with Vogue.
The main residence includes three bedrooms and three and a half bathrooms, complemented by a guest house with an additional bedroom and bath. The mansion recently gained media attention when actress Zoe Kravitz shared a story on Late Night with Seth Meyers about staying there with her mother, Lisa Bonet, to escape the Los Angeles wildfires in early 2025. During their stay, an incident involving Bonet’s pet snake resulted in significant damage to a bathroom as Kravitz and staff had to dismantle built-in fixtures to retrieve the escaped reptile.
