Brooke Williamson’s son is all grown up, and fans can hardly believe how much he’s changed.
The Top Chef star recently shared a striking new photo on Instagram featuring herself and her 18-year-old son, Hudson Roberts, during a glamorous night out in New York City. In the picture posted on Wednesday, September 29, Williamson dazzles in a strapless floor-length gown adorned with shades of green and pink, while Hudson stands tall beside her, looking sharp in a classic black tuxedo.
The pair appear to be outside a theater, with Hudson noticeably towering over his famous mom. Williamson kept the caption simple, adding just a black heart emoji: “🖤”.

Hudson was just 6 years old when Williamson first competed on Top Chef in 2014, and 9 when she returned in 2017, giving fans occasional glimpses of his growth alongside his mom’s culinary journey.
Williamson has expressed pride in Hudson’s academic achievements, revealing to PEOPLE that he earned straight A’s in high school without any academic pressure from her. “I’m incredibly proud of him.
He has done really well in high school and it’s all been him,” she said in June. She also shared that she’s passed down an important piece of advice from her own parents: “be where you’re happiest.”
