Hayden Panettiere’s Engagement Ring Reportedly Missing Years After Her Passing

The engagement ring Hayden Panettiere received from her former fiancé, Wladimir Klitschko, has reportedly gone missing several years after their relationship ended in 2018. According to a recent report by Us Weekly, the valuable diamond ring, estimated to be worth up to $500,000, disappeared in the final days of Hayden’s life.

A source close to the late actress revealed that friends and family suspect the ring was taken while some of Hayden’s belongings were being pawned. This unsettling development follows a police welfare check conducted at Panettiere’s West Hollywood apartment just a week before her tragic death from an apparent overdose last August.

Hayden and Wladimir, who were engaged in 2013, collaborated on designing the unique Montblanc ring, which featured an emerald-cut center diamond and a split-shank band. In a 2013 interview, Hayden described the process, explaining how the company presented sketches and worked closely with her to perfect the design.

The couple dated on and off from 2009 until 2018 and share an 11-year-old daughter, Kaya. Although their engagement ended, Hayden kept the ring as a memento.

In light of these recent developments, Wladimir Klitschko has taken legal action to protect their daughter’s inheritance. Court documents filed in California, as reported by the Associated Press, request that Wladimir be appointed as Kaya’s temporary representative. This move aims to safeguard Hayden’s estate, citing concerns about missing valuables and unauthorized access to her Los Angeles home.

While the court filing does not specifically mention the engagement ring, it emphasizes the need to protect Hayden’s property during the estate settlement process. A hearing is scheduled for October 8 to address these matters.

Security concerns have escalated following an incident where someone entered Hayden’s home without permission prior to her death. Both Hayden and Wladimir had reportedly hired security as a precaution. Wladimir has expressed fears that more belongings could disappear unless someone is officially appointed to oversee the estate.

In response to Hayden’s passing, Wladimir shared a heartfelt tribute on Instagram, stating, “Hayden was, although no longer my partner, an important part of my life and the mother of our daughter, Kaya.” He also acknowledged the profound shock and grief his family experienced.

Hayden Panettiere, widely recognized for her roles in “Heroes” and “Nashville,” died on August 16 at the age of 36 in South Carolina. The coroner ruled her death an accidental overdose involving fentanyl and other substances. Greenville police have confirmed that their investigation is ongoing but have not linked the missing ring to the circumstances of her death.
