Kansas City Chiefs player Drue Tranquill responded to Buffalo Bills fans who threw snowballs at him and his teammates, including Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce. Tranquill mentioned catching a snowball and threatening to launch it back at the fan, claiming his four-year-old throws better snowballs than the Bills fans. He was replying to a post by Arrowhead Live, a Chiefs page that thought the incident was becoming physical. During the playoff game, Tranquill, Mahomes, and Kelce were seen dodging snowballs as they ran toward the locker room after the Chiefs’ 27-24 victory.

Before the game ended, the crowd even threw snowballs at wide receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling mid-play. The highly-anticipated game between the Bills and Chiefs was the first home playoff game for the Bills against the Chiefs since their controversial regular season matchup in December 2023.

Despite the Chiefs’ eventual loss due to a penalty for offensive offsides, which resulted in a reversed touchdown, quarterback Patrick Mahomes expressed his frustration on the sidelines and later apologized for his remarks to Bills quarterback Josh Allen. The rivalry between the Chiefs and Bills continued during the game, with Bills fans going as far as burning a photo of Travis Kelce’s girlfriend, Taylor Swift, during a tailgate. However, Swift, Travis’ brother Jason Kelce, and his wife Kylie appeared to enjoy the game despite the cold reception from Bills fans.

Travis Kelce jokingly responded to his brother Jason ripping off his shirt in celebration during the game. He expressed his admiration for his brother and their unwavering support for each other both on and off the field. Sports radio host Josh Klinger shared an interaction with Travis, where he asked if he believed his brother jumped out of the suite shirtless, drank a beer, and jumped back in. Travis laughed and confirmed their athleticism.

The Chiefs will now face the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC Championship Game, and the winner will go on to play either the Detroit Lions or the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl LVIII.
