Ariana Grande has achieved her sixth No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 with her new single “Yes, And?,” tying her with Taylor Swift for the most number ones among women, according to Billboard. The song is the lead single off Grande’s upcoming album, “Eternal Sunshine,” scheduled to be released on March 8.

According to data from Luminate, “Yes, And?” received 27.2 million streams and reached 24.8 million radio airplay audience impressions from January 12 to January 18. The single also sold 53,000 units, with 41,000 of those being digital downloads.

This latest No. 1 marks Grande’s eighth time topping the Billboard Hot 100 and her first since March of last year when her song “Die for You” with The Weeknd debuted at the top. “Yes, And?” also represents her first solo debut since November 2020’s “Positions.”

In total, Grande’s eight songs that have reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 are: “Yes, And?” (one week at No. 1 as of January 27, 2024), “Die for You” with The Weeknd (one week, March 11, 2023), “Save Your Tears” with The Weeknd (two weeks, starting May 8, 2021), “Positions” (one week, November 7, 2020), “Rain on Me” with Lady Gaga (one week, June 6, 2020), “Stuck With U” with Justin Bieber (one week, May 23, 2020), “7 Rings” (eight weeks, starting February 2, 2019), and “Thank U Next” (seven weeks, starting November 17, 2018).

With her latest No. 1, Grande is now tied with Beyoncé for the eighth-most Billboard Hot 100 No. 1s among solo women. Mariah Carey holds the record with 19 songs.

Grande co-wrote and produced “Yes, And?” alongside Swedish songwriters and record producers Max Martin and ILYA. This achievement gives Martin the most No. 1s among producers on the chart, with a record-breaking 24. Additionally, he ties with John Lennon for the second-most Hot 100 No. 1s among writers, while Paul McCartney still holds the record.
