Country singer Tim McGraw recently shared a video on Instagram showcasing his daughter Audrey’s musical talents. The 22-year-old performed a short cover of Tammy Wynette’s “Stand By Your Man” on the piano and sang along. McGraw posted a side-by-side clip of himself reacting to the black-and-white video in which he praised Audrey’s performance and wrote, “Wow. Our girl Audrey crushes this one.”
McGraw continued to express how proud he is of Audrey’s talent, highlighting her skills as both a singer and a songwriter. He stated that all of his girls, including Audrey, are incredibly talented and that their vocals are impressive. He also mentioned how he loves hearing Audrey play around the house and praised her original music, describing her voice and songwriting as “mind-blowing” and “deep.” McGraw considers Audrey to have a true artist’s soul and feels lucky to have the opportunity to listen to her play the piano when she is home.
During the interview, McGraw admitted that he and his wife, Faith Hill, often quietly listen to Audrey’s music without her knowledge. He shared that they sometimes have to sneak around to observe Audrey playing the piano because she stops if she notices them. McGraw expressed his immense pride in his daughter’s musical talent, calling her “special” and expressing gratitude for her presence in their lives.
This isn’t the first time McGraw has praised his daughters’ singing abilities. In addition to Audrey, he and Hill have two other daughters named Gracie and Maggie. In an interview with Good Morning America in August 2023, McGraw mentioned that all three girls are exceptional singers and joked that he is the worst singer in the family when compared to his daughters and wife.
