Pharrell Williams has partnered with LEGO to create a movie based on his life story. The 50-year-old producer announced the collaboration on Friday and shared a poster for the film on Instagram. The poster features a LEGO version of Williams wearing his trademark camouflage and ready to conquer the studio, stage, and fashion industry. Williams expressed his surprise and excitement about having his story told through LEGO, as he used to play with the popular toy when he was younger. The film is titled “Piece By Piece.”

While many people have had their stories turned into movies recently, such as Priscilla Presley, Diana Nyad, Leonard Bernstein, Robert Oppenheimer, and Jose M. Hernandez, not many have taken the animated route. Focus Features, the company behind the production, credits Williams for coming up with the idea five years ago and has been working on the project with him ever since.

The movie is set to be released on October 11. It remains to be seen who else will follow in Williams’ footsteps and have their story told using Lincoln Logs.
