The police found a machete and a large kitchen knife at the scene of the crime, indicating that the victim had been decapitated.

The prime suspect in the homicide, Justin Mohn, who is the victim’s son and lived in the same home, reportedly fled in his father’s vehicle. He was apprehended several hours later, approximately 100 miles away from the crime scene. It is currently unknown whether he has legal representation.
