Bruce Springsteen, 74, made a public appearance to support Jon Bon Jovi, 61, just two days after the death of his mother, Adele Zerilli Springsteen, at the age of 98. The iconic singer joined Bon Jovi on stage at the Los Angeles Convention Center, where Bon Jovi was being honored for his successful career and philanthropic work as the MusiCares Person of the Year.

During the event, Jon introduced Bruce as his mentor and hero, and the two quickly rocked out to Bon Jovi’s hit song “Who Says You Can’t Go Home.” Bruce wore a brown jacket over a black button-down shirt and black pants, while Jon sported an all-black outfit with a blazer.

The MusiCares Person of the Year event saw the attendance of several other celebrities, including Paul McCartney, Sammy Hagar, Jelly Roll, Shania Twain, Melissa Etheridge, Robert Kraft, and Jim Gaffigan. Alongside the incredible music performances, which included a rendition of “Livin’ On A Prayer,” there were humorous moments, such as Jim playfully impersonating Jon by wearing a wig that replicated his iconic hairstyle.

Jon’s event followed Bruce’s heartfelt tribute to his late mother, Adele, on social media. Bruce shared a video of Adele dancing to Glenn Miller’s “In the Mood” and expressed his fond memories of her, highlighting her presence in his life and her appearance as she walked home from work.

The event served as an opportunity for Bruce Springsteen to find solace and show support for his friend and colleague, Jon Bon Jovi, while honoring his mother’s memory.
