In a frightening incident at the home of “The Situation” star Mike Sorrentino, his son choked on his favorite pasta. Sorrentino shared a video of the incident on social media, showing a family dinner that quickly turned into a nightmare. The video shows Sorrentino sitting at the table with his 2-year-old son, Romeo, beside him, when Romeo chokes on the pasta.
Romeo immediately begins to cough and cry, causing Sorrentino to jump up and check on him before Romeo collapses forward in distress. Another person in the room can be heard saying that Romeo is choking, while a woman, presumably Sorrentino’s wife Lauren, rushes to the kitchen for water.
Sorrentino repeatedly smacks Romeo on the back in an attempt to dislodge the food from his windpipe, which eventually works. Romeo cries loudly as his mother uses a tool to help remove the food and pulls him into a tight embrace.
After the video, Sorrentino posted pictures of his children and provided more details about the incident. He praised himself and his wife for staying calm during the ordeal and stated that they plan to attend CPR classes soon. In the meantime, Romeo will need to avoid eating gnocchi for a while.
