International diplomats are confident that Taylor Swift will be able to make it to the Super Bowl in Las Vegas after her concert in Tokyo. The Embassy of Japan in Washington, DC released a statement assuring fans that Swift can make the journey in time to support her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, who plays for the Kansas City Chiefs. The embassy made a punny statement, saying fans can “confidently Speak Now” in knowing that Swift will be able to make it to Las Vegas. Swift has been dating Kelce since the summer.
The embassy’s statement said, “We know that many people in Japan are excited to experience Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour, so we wanted to confirm that anyone concerned can be Fearless in knowing that this talented performer can wow Japanese audiences and still make it to Las Vegas to support the Chiefs when they take the field for the Super Bowl wearing Red.”
There has been no response from Swift’s spokesperson regarding her travel plans. Tokyo is 5,500 miles and 17 hours ahead of Las Vegas, but the embassy assures that Swift can comfortably make the 12-hour flight in time. It is likely that she will be flying by private jet. Despite her busy schedule, Swift has been attending Kelce’s games.
Swift will be attending the Grammy Awards on Sunday without Kelce, who will be traveling. After her performances in Tokyo from February 7 to February 10, she will fly back to the United States for the Super Bowl.
