A militia sniper named Paul Faye Sr. has been arrested by the FBI for attempting to sell an unregistered suppressor for an AK-47 to an undercover agent. However, the FBI has also accused Faye of owning multiple weapons and explosives and planning a violent attack on people at the southern border.

Faye has been charged with the possession of an unregistered silencer under the National Firearms Act. The criminal complaint states that an undercover FBI agent contacted Faye through TikTok, leading to a series of interactions where Faye expressed his belief that the government intentionally allows illegal immigrants to benefit themselves.

During a meeting in December, Faye told an undercover agent that he was coordinating with militia groups from Kentucky, Georgia, North Carolina, and Tennessee. He mentioned his plan to transport explosives to the border and provoke a “domino effect” by creating chaos.

Faye claimed that he would act as a sniper, saying he would be on a nearby rooftop and would target anyone approaching the border. In January, two undercover agents visited Faye’s home, where they saw his collection of firearms, including several AR-15 rifles, a shotgun, and a Creedmoor rifle.

In response to the perceived crisis at the southern border, loosely organized groups like “God’s Army” have emerged, with the goal of repelling migrants. This group, which has over 4,600 followers on Telegram, has garnered attention for its efforts to stop migrants from entering the US.
