The mysterious disappearance and unfortunate passing of Riley Strain has gripped the nation. Now, with access to his autopsy results, we have some answers regarding his tragic demise.

Per the autopsy findings, drowning combined with ethanol intoxication were determined as the causes of Riley’s death, which was ruled accidental. His blood alcohol content was found to be 0.228. Additionally, there were no signs of significant physical trauma on his body, although THC was present in his system.

The report further details that Riley’s body was discovered in the Cumberland River in Nashville by a concrete plant worker on March 22, weeks after he initially went missing.

This revelation provides some solace to his family, who have been in a state of mourning and seeking clarity on the events leading to his unexpected death.

In other news, the university student was discovered deceased in the waters of Nashville’s Cumberland River two weeks subsequent to his disappearance, following his ejection from Luke’s 32 Bridge, a bar owned by country music star Luke Bryan, due to apparent excessive intoxication.

The circumstances of Riley’s death raised eyebrows, particularly because he was found without his cowboy boots, pants, or wallet—items he had with him on the night he disappeared, as noted by family spokesperson, Chris Dingman.

Adding to the family’s concerns were speculations that Riley’s drink might have been tampered with. An initial report that highlighted the absence of water in Riley’s lungs further complicated the narrative, suggesting the possibility that he may not have been alive when he entered the water.

Dissatisfied with the initial autopsy, Riley’s parents commissioned a secondary, independent examination in hopes of getting to the bottom of their son’s mysterious death.

Riley was just 22 years old.

May he rest in peace.
