Authorities are on high alert as a suspect deemed “armed and dangerous” and linked to three murders among other crimes nationwide is currently evading capture in Arkansas.

Stacy Lee Drake, aged 50, is the major suspect in a spree of violent acts including three killings in Oklahoma, which authorities say resulted from two separate incidents of carjacking, as reported by the Arkansas State Police.

Arkansas State Police also shared surveillance images of Drake, highlighting his connection to an extensive list of indictable offenses across various jurisdictions. These charges encompass aggravated robbery, carjacking, and murder.

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation disclosed additional insights into two of the murders, which occurred in Sequoyah County. A man and a woman were found deceased within a business on Tuesday, though their identities have yet to be disclosed.

While the official causes of death are pending medical examination, Oklahoma authorities have indicated that both victims exhibited signs consistent with homicide.

Drake was last noticed on foot near a motel in Morrilton, Arkansas, located about 53 miles northwest of Little Rock. His whereabouts became of interest in Morrilton following the discovery that a vehicle he allegedly commandeered was found abandoned in the town. Morrilton is situated approximately 130 miles east of the crime scene in Sequoyah County, Oklahoma.

Described by state police as a Birmingham, Alabama, native with brown hair and eyes, standing 5 feet, 11 inches tall, and weighing 185 pounds, Drake’s current appearance was shared in efforts to aid his capture.

The public has been strongly advised against approaching Drake if spotted and is urged to contact 911 immediately, as per the statement from the Arkansas State Police.
