JoJo Siwa Confronts Booing Incident at NYC Pride Concert

Additional Coverage:

JoJo Siwa encountered jeers while performing live in New York City. During her appearance in Trixie Mattel’s Solid Pink Disco Pride Tour on June 29, the 21-year-old singer paused her show to confront hecklers.

A fan-recorded video shared online shows Siwa challenging the audience with, “Who the living f—k just booed me? Where the f—k did that come from?

Which one of you? Which one of you?”

The footage then shows her taking a fan’s sign and defiantly responding to the crowd, “Respectfully, f—k you.”

Wearing a bold outfit adorned with teddy bear motifs, Siwa’s reaction continued as she gestured rudely towards the crowd, prompted by the booing. Her response was met with cheers from her supporters, and she symbolically snapped a flower stem, inserting it into her pants, declaring disdain for the detractors.

In addition to the heckling, other notable moments from her concert included provocative dance routines with teddy bear-costumed dancers, as captured in further fan videos. The unusual performance tricks and Siwa’s transformations left a strong impression on audiences.

The event came after Siwa’s lively 21st birthday celebration, marked by a humorous admission of drunkenness and an incident where she was punched in the face, details of which she shared on social media.

Once beloved for her wholesome image on “Dance Moms” and as a Nickelodeon star, Siwa has since embraced a more mature artistic direction. Following her public coming out in 2021, her performances have evolved into more expressive and bold statements.

Recently, Siwa made headlines for her record-setting attendance at Chicago Pride Fest, expressing her gratitude towards fans for their overwhelming support and enthusiasm.
