Clint Eastbody’s Longtime Companion Christina Sandera Passes Away at 61

Additional Coverage:

Christina Sandera, who had been Clint Eastwood’s partner for nearly a decade, has passed away at the age of 61, according to an announcement from the legendary actor-director.

Bob Booker, known for his work as a writer-producer on ‘The First Family’ comedy album, has also passed away at the age of 92.

“Christina was a wonderful, caring woman, and her absence will be deeply felt,” Eastwood stated in a release on Thursday night. A representative from Warner Bros. conveyed to The Hollywood Reporter that no additional details would be provided at this time.

Their relationship was notably private.

Sandera and Eastwood met around 2014 while she was employed as a hostess at Eastwood’s Mission Ranch Hotel and Restaurant in Carmel-by-the-Sea, California. Residing in Carmel, Sandera was often seen at public events with Eastwood, including at the 2015 Academy Awards for ‘American Sniper’, which was nominated for six Oscars, and she also appeared with him at premieres for ‘Sully’ in 2016, ‘The Mule’ and ‘The 15:17 to Paris’ in 2018, and ‘Richard Jewell’ in 2019.

Eastwood, 94, has been married twice before – first to Maggie Johnson in 1953, with their divorce finalized in 1984, and then to TV news anchor Dina Ruiz from 1996 until their divorce in 2014. His notable romantic relationships have included partnerships with stuntwoman Roxanne Tunis, actress Sondra Locke with whom he was a domestic partner for 14 years, flight attendant Jacelyn Reeves, and actress Frances Fisher, with whom he also had a five-year relationship and collaborated on four films.

Clint Eastwood’s latest directorial venture, ‘Juror No. 2’, announced in April 2023, is currently in post-production.

In a related note, tributes have been flowing in for Bob Newhart, remembered by Jamie Lee Curtis, Judd Apatow, Paul Feig, and Kaley Cuoco as “truly one of a kind.”
