- Elon Musk says a throwdown with Mark Zuckerberg would be a ‘short fight’ because the Meta CEO is a ‘little fella’ (newsbreak.com)
In a recent social media post, Elon Musk humorously remarked about the potential brevity of a hypothetical fight with Mark Zuckerberg, referring to Zuckerberg as a “little fella.” The comment came amid discussions of another challenge Musk entertained, this time from Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro. Maduro had accused Musk of alleging election fraud in Venezuela’s recent presidential elections, leading to a peculiar challenge from the South American leader.
Despite the buzz last year, the much-talked-about cage fight between tech titans Musk and Zuckerberg never came to fruition. However, Musk speculated that if it had happened, it would not have lasted long.
Adding to his history of audacious challenges, Musk previously called out Russian President Vladimir Putin for a “single combat” amid the Ukraine crisis, and even offered to fight with a handicap by using only his left hand.
The ongoing rivalry between Musk and Zuckerberg reignited when Musk responded to Zuckerberg’s announcement of a new text-based platform, Threads, which appears to rival Musk’s own social media platform. Even though the duel between Musk and Zuckerberg remains speculative, Musk’s willingness to confront other figures publicly continues to draw attention.
Requests for comment from both Musk’s and Zuckerberg’s representatives were not immediately answered. Meanwhile, Zuckerberg has downplayed the likelihood of the fight happening, advising followers to dismiss Musk’s statements unless an actual agreement is publicized.
