A Yankees supporter was captured on video knocking out a man outside of a Phillies game in Philadelphia. This altercation occurred after the Yankees’ victory over the Phillies this Tuesday outside Citizens Bank Park. The conflict, according to newly surfaced footage by TMZ Sports, began after the Yankees fan, dressed in an Aaron Judge jersey, was subjected to a homophobic slur by a man in a black shirt.
The video shows the two men initially engaged in a heated verbal exchange, escalating tensions. As they argued about fighting, the individual in the Aaron Judge jersey claimed he could easily defeat his adversary, who challenged, “How would you dust me?” The argument continued until the man in the black shirt used a derogatory term directed at the Judge fan.
Following this, the situation deteriorated quickly. Another video posted on social media shows the Yankees fan responding with a forceful slap, rendering the other man unconscious.
The Philadelphia Police Department is now investigating the incident and has urged the victim and witnesses to come forward to assist with the case.
