Jeff Bezos’ $500 million superyacht, Koru, has become a hotspot for celebrity gatherings since its launch last year. Notably, Bezos and his fiancée, Lauren Sánchez, celebrated their engagement on the yacht in 2023, hosting a lavish party attended by a plethora of high-profile guests.
Since its maiden voyage, Koru has welcomed a series of notable figures from various industries, including billionaires, reality TV personalities, and Oscar-winning actors. Among the elite guests were Leonardo DiCaprio, who has been seen on the yacht multiple times, including at Bezos and Sánchez’s engagement party as reported by Page Six.
Other celebrities like singer Katy Perry and actor Orlando Bloom have also enjoyed time aboard Koru. The couple, who have a close relationship with Bezos and Sánchez, spent part of their summer in Italy on the yacht. They were joined at one point by Usher, among other celebrities.
Microsoft’s co-founder Bill Gates was another esteemed guest who attended the yacht’s engagement party in August 2023, accompanied by his partner, Paula Hurd. According to paparazzi shots, they were seen relaxing on the deck.
The yacht also welcomed reality TV star Kim Kardashian and her mother Kris Jenner. They spent time cruising the Aegean Sea with Bezos and Sánchez earlier in the summer, as reported by “People.” Jenner celebrated the engagement party with them as well, sharing moments on social media.
