Dana White Purchases Pure Gold Trading Card With Massive Cash Bundle

Additional Coverage:

Dana White, the CEO and president of UFC, demonstrated his sense of fairness at Fanatics Fest, a gathering that attracts renowned athletes and sports figures. During the event, White was approached by a fan named Kenny Duncan Jr., who is the founder of Celebrity Mint. Celebrity Mint produces commemorative coins, styled like trading cards, that honor sports legends.

Duncan offered White a distinctive gold coin featuring boxing icon Mike Tyson, without expecting anything in return. However, White insisted on compensating Duncan for the valuable item. He pulled out a handful of cash and gave Duncan $600 for the half-gram coin.

The transaction happened swiftly as White, who is friends with “Iron Mike” Tyson, placed the cash in Duncan’s hand and continued on his way. Duncan, who had been ready to give the coin as a gift, was pleasantly surprised by White’s gesture.

Celebrity Mint also creates coins for other celebrated athletes including Floyd Mayweather, Ric Flair, and Pete Rose, all of whom have had significant careers worthy of such an honor. Meanwhile, White maintains his reputation as a diligent and fair leader in the sports industry, committed to his work and treating others with respect.
