Lady Gaga is reaching out to her fans with a powerful message about persistence and chasing their dreams.

The acclaimed singer and actress recently reacted to a TikTok video posted by a fan group. The video began with a screenshot of a Facebook page created by Gaga’s former schoolmates titled, “Stefani Germanotta, you will never be famous.” The clip then transitioned to a contemporary photo of Gaga, listing her numerous awards, including an Academy Award, 13 Grammys, and two Golden Globes.

Commenting on the post, Gaga, whose real name is Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, said, “Some people I went to college [with] made this way back when. This is why you can’t give up when people doubt you or put you down — gotta keep going.”

Gaga attended the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University in the early 2000s but left in 2005 to pursue her music career. She began performing in clubs around New York City, crafting her now-famous stage persona.

In 2009, she released her debut album, “The Fame,” which featured hits like “Just Dance,” “Poker Face,” and “Paparazzi.” The album’s success garnered five Grammy nominations, including Album of the Year and Song of the Year for “Poker Face.”

Over the years, Gaga has continually released hit songs, such as those from her albums “Born This Way” and “Chromatica.” She has also ventured into acting, saying to E! News in January 2019, “I think I’ve created characters for years so that I could be an actress because I always wanted to be one, and I couldn’t make it, so I went for it as a musician.”

She earned significant acclaim for her acting debut in “American Horror Story” in 2015, receiving her first Emmy Award nomination and win. Her role as Ally in the 2018 movie “A Star Is Born” earned her an Academy Award nomination for acting.

Currently, Gaga is promoting her latest film, “Joker: Folie à Deux,” in which she portrays Harley Quinn alongside Joaquin Phoenix’s Joker. Speaking to Vogue, Gaga shared her unique take on Harley Quinn, linking it to her own experiences with mania and chaos. She also revealed that she composed a waltz for the film.

Gaga’s work on “Joker: Folie à Deux” shows her ongoing commitment to her craft and her ability to inspire others to persevere against the odds.
