Patriots’ Tackle Chuks Okorafor Leaves Team

Additional Coverage:

On Saturday, the Patriots announced that offensive tackle Chuks Okorafor has been placed on the exempt/left squad list.

Okorafor was benched after playing just 12 snaps last week, during which he allowed three quarterback pressures in six pass-blocking attempts. Initially a career right tackle, the Patriots had been using him as a temporary solution at left tackle this season.

Moving forward, Vederian Lowe will take on the role of left tackle for the team.

Additionally, the Patriots announced they have elevated offensive guard Michael Jordan from the practice squad for Sunday’s game.

This marks Jordan’s second elevation, filling in for starting left guard Sidy Sow, who is out with an ankle injury.

Jordan had played all 65 offensive snaps at left guard during the season opener, allowing two hurries in pass protection.
