Gaudreau Calls Siblings Her Biggest Blessing

Katie Gaudreau, sister of NHL player Johnny Gaudreau and his brother Matthew, continues to honor their memory following their tragic deaths.

On September 21st, Katie shared a video tribute, expressing her love and admiration for her brothers. "Being your sister is my greatest accomplishment," she wrote.

Johnny and Matthew passed away on August 12th after being struck by a vehicle while cycling in New Jersey. Sean M. Higgins, who was allegedly intoxicated at the time, has been charged with vehicular homicide.

Higgins attempted to pass two vehicles and re-enter his lane, striking the brothers from behind. The brothers were set to be groomsmen in Katie’s wedding, which has been postponed.

Katie has shared several tributes to her brothers, emphasizing their close bond. "There are absolutely no words to express the bond my family shared," she wrote.

Katie’s fiancé, Devin Joyce, also expressed his love for Johnny and Matthew, promising to take care of Katie and their future children. "I loved you guys so much," Joyce wrote. "There is not a second that will go by that I will not look at Katie and see both of you."
