Additional Coverage:

Fans at the Pittsburgh Steelers and Dallas Cowboys game were instructed to seek shelter as thunderstorms approached Acrisure Stadium on Sunday evening. The game was scheduled to start at 8:20 p.m. ET but was delayed due to lightning and heavy rain.

The stadium announced on social media that fans should seek cover in the concourses and FedEx Great Hall. The message warned of approaching storms and advised attendees to take precautions.

The Pittsburgh Steelers aimed to stop the Dallas Cowboys offense, led by quarterback Justin Fields, wide receiver CeeDee Lamb, and a strong defense. Fields had impressive stats in the season’s first four games, with 830 passing yards and three touchdowns.

The Cowboys faced several injuries, including Micah Parsons, Deuce Vaughn, Brandin Cooks, and DeMarcus Lawrence. Despite these setbacks, Dak Prescott and Lamb hoped to lead the team to victory.
