José Manuel Carbajal Zaldívar, known as El Taiger, has passed away after being shot in the head in Miami last week. His family confirmed the tragic news in a statement on Instagram.

The 37-year-old singer was in critical condition after undergoing surgery. Police believe he was shot elsewhere and then driven to a neighborhood near the hospital. Two red gas cans were found in the trunk of his Mercedes-Benz.

El Taiger was facing criminal charges for robbery and battery at the time of his death. He had released several singles and EPs throughout his career, with his most recent song, “Bonita,” released in May.

The investigation into El Taiger’s death is ongoing. His family expressed gratitude to the medical staff at Jackson Memorial Hospital for their efforts. They also thanked fans for their prayers and support during this difficult time.
