SNL Mocks Kamala Harris on Family Feud

Additional Coverage:

Saturday Night Live (SNL) took a jab at Vice President Kamala Harris in a “Family Feud” sketch. Maya Rudolph, portraying Harris, struggled to answer a question about glove compartment items, instead recounting her middle-class upbringing.

Host Kenan Thompson asked about items people keep in their glove compartments. Rudolph’s response, “I was raised in a middle class family,” prompted Thompson to interrupt.

Rudolph eventually answered with “a Glock,” referencing Harris’s interview where she discussed owning a gun. The board showed “a gun” as the second answer.

Thompson also asked other Democrats on Harris’s team the same question. Andy Samberg, playing Doug Emhoff, gave the same answer, “a Glock.”

Harris has faced criticism for dodging questions and providing vague responses in interviews. The sketch poked fun at her tendency to bring up her childhood while avoiding specific answers.
