Local Woman Surprises Father with Family Visit
After decades away from her home state, Wendy Altschuler decided to surprise her father with a visit from her three sons. She had been worried about his well-being, especially after her mother’s passing.
Despite his age, her father had found love again and remarried. At his wedding, Wendy was moved to tears when she saw her mother’s painting hanging in a local coffee shop.
Years later, Wendy decided to plan a surprise visit for her father. She called him regularly, gathering information to ensure he would be home. Her plan was to have her sons casually approach him at his favorite coffee shop.
When they arrived, he wasn’t there. They had to quickly change plans and drive to his house. As they approached the door, they were greeted by dozens of chickens.
Wendy knocked, and her father opened the door to a chorus of “Surprise!” He was overjoyed to see his grandchildren, his face filled with delight.
