Young Thug Sentenced
Rapper Young Thug could be released from jail soon. On Thursday, a judge sentenced him to 40 years, but if he successfully completes 15 years of probation, he may not have to serve any additional prison time.
The 20-year prison sentence imposed is contingent on violating probation. Judge Whitaker stated that part of the sentence would be commuted if Thug maintains good behavior.
Co-Defendants
Thug’s attorney requested he be allowed to associate with co-defendants, including his brother and Gunna, to continue his rap career.
