Florida Woman Arrested in Facebook Live Murder Case

Lakevia Pringle, 31, has been charged with first-degree premeditated murder in Florida. She allegedly filmed a Facebook livestream that captured the fatal shooting of Lauren Martin, 34, on November 5.

Pringle’s girlfriend, Savon Tyler, 35, was arrested earlier and charged with the same crime. Police say Tyler fought with and killed Martin.

During the livestream, Pringle allegedly encouraged Tyler to continue the altercation, which led to Martin’s death. A redacted police report revealed a voice telling Tyler to “fire her up.”

Police determined that an ongoing argument prompted Martin to drive to Tyler’s home. Tyler armed herself with a miniature baseball bat and a handgun and confronted Martin on the street.

The two women fought before Martin was shot. Martin leaves behind three children. Both Pringle and Tyler are being held in jail without bond.
