Tuskegee Homecoming Shooting Leaves 1 Dead, Several Injured

Tragedy struck Tuskegee University in Alabama on Sunday, as gunshots erupted during its homecoming weekend.

One person, an 18-year-old man, was killed, and 16 others were injured, 12 of them from gunfire. The victims included Tuskegee students.

Police have launched an investigation but have yet to make any arrests.

The university has canceled classes on Monday to allow law enforcement to process the scene. Grief counselors will be available to students at the chapel.

Surveillance footage shows people ducking behind vehicles as gunshots are heard in the background.

The university spokesperson confirmed the shooting and expressed condolences to the victim’s family.

The Alabama Bureau of Investigations is conducting the ongoing investigation.
