Tragic Plane Crash Kills Two, Injures One in Colorado
A Civil Air Patrol plane crash in Colorado on Saturday has left two people dead and a third severely injured. The occupants were participating in a search and rescue training exercise when the Cessna 182 went down in a wooded area.
The Larimer County Sheriff’s Office responded to the crash around 11:12 a.m. The victims’ identities have not yet been released.
The Civil Air Patrol expressed condolences to the victims’ families and pledged to cooperate fully with the investigation. The National Transportation Safety Board will investigate the factors that led to the crash.
