Sherri Shepherd and Friends Give Back for Thanksgiving
Comedian and actress Sherri Shepherd teamed up with Food Network chef Anne Burrell and fashion designer Dapper Dan to distribute hundreds of frozen turkeys to those in need in Harlem on Monday.
The charitable event was held at Melba Wilson’s restaurant in partnership with GUMBO and the organization “God’s Love We Deliver.”
Shepherd, Burrell, and Dapper even went the extra mile, taking their donations on public transit buses to offer turkeys to passengers.
The event was a resounding success, with many grateful recipients taking advantage of the free holiday meal.
