DeGeneres Safe After England Flood

Additional Coverage:

Ellen DeGeneres and Portia De Rossi recently moved to England, but disaster has struck again.

Just weeks after relocating, their new home in the Cotswolds was hit by severe flooding. The River Thames burst its banks, inundating the area with 80 MPH winds and 5 feet of water.

The couple’s 43-acre property was submerged, and nearby roads were impassable. It’s unknown if anyone is on-site to assess the damage.

Ironically, their former home in California was also ravaged by floods last year. Ellen and other celebrities were evacuated, and significant damage was caused.

DeGeneres captured footage of the previous flood, showing shocking and dramatic scenes. The extent of the damage to her new home remains unclear.
