Jaguars QB Trevor Lawrence Suffers Concussion
Trevor Lawrence, the quarterback for the Jacksonville Jaguars, was injured during a game against the Houston Texans on Sunday. After a hard hit, Lawrence exhibited the fencing response, a sign of a head injury. He was taken off the field in a cart and later diagnosed with a concussion.
Despite the injury, Lawrence was able to leave the stadium with his wife and appeared to be in good spirits. He thanked supporters on social media for their prayers and well wishes.
This is the second concussion Lawrence has suffered in the NFL, and the third since entering college. Given the Jaguars’ poor record, the team may decide to keep Lawrence off the field for the remainder of the season, even if he is cleared to play.
