Missing Oregon woman and dogs found dead; husband arrested

Oregon authorities arrested Michael Fournier for the murder of his estranged wife, Susan Lane-Fournier. Her body was found near Mount Hood after she was reported missing on November 22nd.

Fournier is being held without bond on a second-degree murder charge. The medical examiner has ruled Lane-Fournier’s death a homicide.

A multi-day search and rescue mission was launched after her car was found near a trailhead. A friend who joined the search discovered her body.

Two dogs believed to belong to Lane-Fournier were also found dead in the area.
