Texas Man Sentenced to 100 Years for Deadly Interstate Shooting

In a shocking case, a Texas man named Christopher McDonnell has been sentenced to 100 years in prison. On Thanksgiving 2020, McDonnell was involved in a deadly rampage that spanned two states.

McDonnell, along with his brother and sister-in-law, embarked on an 11-hour shooting spree. They first killed a man in Henderson, Nevada, and then wounded several others in drive-by shootings.

After crossing into Arizona, the group continued their rampage, engaging in a shootout with police. The pursuit ended when their vehicle crashed, and McDonnell’s brother was injured.

McDonnell pleaded guilty to over 20 felonies, including murder, attempted murder, and weapon charges. He received a minimum sentence of 100 years, with the possibility of parole in 2120.

His brother and sister-in-law remain in custody and are awaiting trial for their involvement in the shootings.
