Mother of Oxford School Shooter Requests Release from Prison
Jennifer Crumbley, the mother of the Oxford school shooter, has requested her release from prison. She argues that it would be unfair to keep her locked up while her appeals are ongoing.
Crumbley was convicted of four counts of involuntary manslaughter for her son’s shooting spree, which killed four students and injured seven others. Her attorney claims she is not a flight risk and poses no danger.
However, the prosecutor argues that Crumbley should remain in prison because she was convicted for her own actions and inactions, not for her son’s.
Crumbley and her husband made history as the first parents to be convicted for a mass shooting committed by their child. Jennifer was sentenced to 10-15 years in prison.
