Chinese Underwater Drone Found Near Philippines
Fishermen discovered a Chinese underwater drone off the coast of the Philippines. The yellow, torpedo-shaped device is labeled “HY-119” and is believed to be used for communication and navigation.
The drone was found in internal Philippine waters, far from the open sea. It has been handed over to the Philippine Navy for inspection.
Philippine Navy sources believe the device is capable of transmitting, recording, and monitoring data. Police say it has an antenna and camera for surveillance purposes.
