Matthew Livelsberger, the individual responsible for the Tesla Cybertruck explosion in Las Vegas on New Year’s Day, served in the U.S. Army as a Special Forces soldier.
During his military career, Livelsberger received numerous medals and accolades, including five Bronze Stars and an Army Commendation Medal with Valor. He was deployed to Afghanistan twice and served in various overseas locations such as Ukraine and Georgia.
Livelsberger was on approved leave at the time of his death. The incident occurred outside the Trump International Hotel in Vegas, where he detonated the Cybertruck and shot himself in the head just before the explosion.
