James Lee Williams, known as The Vivienne, the inaugural winner of “RuPaul’s Drag Race UK,” has passed away at the age of 32.

Williams’ manager, Simon Jones, confirmed the tragic news in a statement on Instagram. He praised Williams’ talent and infectious laughter, describing their friendship as invaluable. Jones requested privacy for Williams’ family and did not disclose further details.

Williams was actively starring in the stage musical “Chitty Chitty Bang Bang” as the Childcatcher. Jones expressed heartbreak over the abrupt end of Williams’ blossoming career in musical theater.

The drag queen and theater communities are mourning the loss. Celebrities and “RuPaul’s Drag Race” alumni paid tribute to Williams, expressing their admiration for their artistry and warm personality.
