Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence and his wife, Marissa, welcomed their first child, a daughter named Shae Lynn Lawrence, on Saturday.
Marissa shared the news on Instagram, posting photos of the family with their newborn. “Mommy and daddy love you so much!!!” they wrote.
Trevor had been recovering from a head injury and missed the Jaguars’ season finale, giving him time to spend with his wife and daughter.
The couple’s new addition comes amidst changes for the Jaguars, who recently fired head coach Doug Pederson.
For now, Trevor will focus on his role as a father before returning to football in the offseason.
