After a decade away from the spotlight, Cameron Diaz is returning to acting with the Netflix film “Back in Action.”
During her hiatus, Diaz focused on raising her family and building her own life. She admitted to not pursuing any training or public appearances.
Diaz is not the only celebrity to return from retirement. Tom Brady famously unretired after six weeks, while Jim Carrey recently walked back his comments about retiring due to financial concerns.
Diaz’s return to acting comes after she starred in her last film role in 2014’s “Annie.” She previously stated that her decision to leave acting was to prioritize her family.
In the “Back in Action” film, Diaz will star alongside Jamie Foxx.
