Teen’s Co-ed Sleepover Survived by Parent

When my daughter turned 16, she begged for a co-ed sleepover party. I was hesitant, but eventually agreed to let the boys stay until 11 pm.

After some convincing, I relented and allowed the boys to sleep over. To my surprise, the party went smoothly. The kids watched movies and ate snacks, and there was no inappropriate behavior.

I’m still not convinced that co-ed sleepovers are a good idea, but I’m glad I made an exception for my daughter’s birthday. It was an experience that she and her friends will cherish, and it wasn’t as bad as I had feared.
