Busta Rhymes, a renowned rapper, is facing charges of assault and harassment after an alleged incident with his assistant in New York City.
According to law enforcement, the incident occurred on January 10th when Busta confronted his assistant, Dashiel Gables, for using his phone during work hours. The argument escalated into a physical altercation, with Busta allegedly punching Gables multiple times.
Gables sustained an eye injury and was taken to a hospital for treatment. He later contacted the police, and Busta turned himself in on Tuesday. He was given a desk appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in court to address the charges.
Busta Rhymes’ representatives have not yet responded to requests for comment.
