Longtime political commentator Chuck Todd is leaving NBC News. He announced his departure on Friday.
Todd spent nearly two decades at the network, most notably as the moderator of “Meet the Press.”
He held that position for nine years before being replaced by Kristen Welker in 2023. Since then, Todd’s presence on NBC has been significantly reduced.
An NBC News spokesperson expressed gratitude for Todd’s contributions to their political coverage and wished him well in his future endeavors.
