Fighter Regrets Hitler Praise

Additional Coverage:

Local UFC fighter Bryce Mitchell has issued an apology for recent comments he made about Adolf Hitler. Mitchell expressed remorse for any offense caused, acknowledging the atrocities of the Holocaust and Hitler’s role in them.

Mitchell emphatically stated he is not a Nazi and condemns Hitler’s actions.

Earlier this week, Mitchell sparked controversy by suggesting Hitler was initially a “good guy” before becoming corrupted by methamphetamine and attempting to purge Germany of Jewish people.

These remarks drew widespread criticism, including from UFC President Dana White, who called them incredibly foolish. Jewish UFC fighter Natan Levy also expressed disgust at Mitchell’s words.

While the reason for Mitchell’s change of heart is unclear, the apology may not be enough to win back some fans.
