Isabella Strahan Shares Health Update After Chemo

Additional Coverage:

Local student Isabella Strahan recently sat down with Good Morning America’s Robin Roberts to discuss her ongoing battle with cancer. The interview comes ahead of a primetime special, Life Interrupted: Isabella Strahan’s Fight Against Cancer, documenting her journey.

Isabella, daughter of Michael Strahan, first publicly revealed her diagnosis on GMA last February. The documentary chronicles the months that followed, featuring footage of surgeries, chemotherapy treatments, and the impact on her daily life.

Much of this journey has already been shared on Isabella’s YouTube channel, but the documentary promises a more in-depth look. Isabella told Roberts that while she’s finished chemotherapy, her fight continues.

Roberts, a cancer survivor herself, asked Isabella about the next steps in her treatment. Isabella explained she’ll undergo MRIs every three months to monitor her health. She’s also focused on regaining weight and muscle lost during chemotherapy, and continuing to work on her balance.

Isabella stressed the importance of nutrition, maintaining a routine, and listening to her body. She’s also returned to her studies at the University of Southern California.

Creating a resource for others facing similar challenges was a driving force behind Isabella’s decision to document her journey. She felt a lack of relatable content online and hopes her story can help others.

Roberts praised Isabella’s courage and advocacy, expressing pride in her resilience. She also teased a “special surprise” at the end of the documentary, urging viewers not to miss it.
